It won’t be long until students will be returning to school after a long Christmas break. On a college campuses, many students will be traveling great distances to return to school soon. A new semester offers new courses, lots of choices, lots of decisions, and (unfortunately) lots of temptations. So many students balance these classes with homework and working! They have a lot on their plates!
There will also be students with aching hearts for the empty lockers, and empty seats of classmates that are no longer there when they return. Our region has had several tragic accidents involving teen drivers during the Christmas break.
In the midst of breakfast in a rush, signing the paperwork, packing the lunch, writing the notes, sending the money, and getting the kids out the door, please remember the students, parents, and educators who need our prayers.
Hold tightly to the memories and moments with your children, as they grow up so very quickly.
